British 777
- The very first aircraft to receive the refit was one of BA’s oldest, a 22-year-old Boeing 777-200. Its first commercial route is back and forth between London Heathrow (LHR) and New York-JFK on the BA173/112 rotation, and I jumped at the chance to try out the new Club Suite on the 777 only a few days after the refit was complete.
- British Airways Club World seats 777, seats 11J & 11K As someone who usually flies in business class products with four seats per row, I was just sort of shocked by the eight seats British Airways has in each row. The center section has four seats — the aisle seats face forwards, and then the two center seats face backwards.
Something to know if you plan to fly British Airways Business Class A380, 747, 777, or 787 is that they call it “Club.” Either Club Europe for flights within the UK and Europe, Club World London City for flights between London City and New York (JFK), or Club World for all other destinations.
The Boeing 777-300 is a long range, twin aisle, twin-engine jet manufactured by Boeing, the American aerospace company. We operate these on routes to Asia and North America.
